Campaigns & Consultations

The Greater Manchester Autism Consortium is currently looking for families to share their experiences of positive transitions into adulthood. If you would like to share your experiences you can do so here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GMAutismConsortiumTransition

Some of you may also be interested in Channel 4’s ‘No Go Britain’ initiative. In the build-up to the Paralympics, Channel 4 are looking for feedback on transport from disabled people. The experiences shared so far cover a wide range of issues, and I’m sure that many of you will have had autism-specific issues. You can read more about the campaign at http://www.channel4.com/news/no-go-britain and anyone can post comments and share their experiences at http://www.facebook.com/nogobritain

ASGMA will also be involved in Manchester City Council’s consultations on hate crime. This is a very serious issue that often goes unreported- if you have experienced hate crime or would just like to share your views, please contact us directly at information@asgma.org.uk
